I recently came across this term called quarter-life crisis which depicts the challenges that you face when you’re choosing your career. It’s probably one of the biggest decisions you’ve ever taken and the enormity of its scares you. “How to Choose a Career” and Why do you choose your career wisely, Right?

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.” Steve Jobs

In this article, I am going to make it really easy for you, I am going to give you five questions that will take you into your dream career. I assure you that by answering these questions, you will be able to make your dream career-

#Q1. What are your unique strengths?
You like a bunch of different things, but you don’t know what your passion is? And it is a mystery that most people on this planet do not even know that a single thing or a single career they want to do for the rest of their lives. But you know what’s bad? Not knowing the passion then it is being told. So try to think and admire some unique Strengths in yourself? Just to do this- Take a notebook and a pen and let’s try to write the answers to these simple questions.
Q1. what do people tell me I’m good at?
Q2. what do people ask me to teach them
Q3. what am I willing to do for long long hours even if I’m tired
Q4. when I meet a whole lot of new people do I feel energized or do I feel drained out
Q5. is am I a doer or a thinker?
These question will help you to find out “skills interests and aptitudes” – but don’t worry if you don’t have everything within you instantly stay with these questions. and as when the answers pop into your head, populates the list but once you’re able to answer these questions you’re going to find out few things.
First thing, when you populate this list and once you’ll find out your ” skills interests and aptitudes”
for example, you could be good at writing, you could be good at editing, a movie, or solving complex math problems.
Second thing, you’re going to find out is your experience which could be in web designing accounting or even in programming
Third thing, you’re going to find out about yourself is your personality traits, for example, your extroverted or your analytical or you’re creative
#Q2 what careers are suited to me
Now, here you need to do a little research on how you look at a job. and as you see the job numbers are decreasing and look at the section of essential skills that comes in the list. The skill that you have for yourself in question number one. For example, if you were not an extroverted people-oriented person, maybe you would like to see jobs like being a doctor, a police officer, a human resources manager, a teacher, or a salesman. If you found that you were creative and perhaps you want to become a UI UX designer or an architect or even a filmmaker or a special effects producer or maybe a makeup artist
#Q3 how can I be sure?
in Silicon Valley, there’s a term called MVP Minimum Viable Product which means what is that smallest chunk of product that you need to develop before you invest a ton of dollars. and it’s opposed to that idea-

Similarly, we need to find out what is that smaller thing we need to do to discover our dream job before we go the whole hog into it.
Here are some ideas to pursue a dream career-
You could do an internship, you could shadow someone you could do voluntary work. I suggest you make real conversations with people talk to them about their work what they like about their work and what they don’t like about their work. also join a lot of clubs and engage with real people.
You could also do short courses weekend courses online courses on some topics to get introduced to them before you decide whether you really want to pursue them or not.
#Q4 what is the core of this career?
For example, before jumping into the core of economics you should answer this question, is mathematics the core of biomedical engineering, not actually bio but electronic and mechanical engineering. Furthermore, the basic argument of the law is not that it is actually reading and listening. Sometimes you want to be RJ because you are good at the speaker. You are motivated, you are enthusiastic, but feel that it is just part of the job.
The core is being an expert in a particular domain and having a lot of knowledge on a specific topic being able to identify the core of a career is that you can now focus on a few things to succeed.

#Q5 is this theory of future proof?
This is a very important question for you before choosing your career because you want to know something.
So here are a couple of things you want to look at to conclude the “What profession to choose as a career?” –
One thing, the world needs to see industries that are doing well. Today, in the future, it could be for healthcare pharma, IT, education media, perhaps even transportation or politics.
Secondly, you want to see what areas you are likely to get through artificial intelligence.
Third thing, you want to consider making a career. For example, if you are a CA or doing law, you now know that you have more chances to practice privately and if you want to go for it. But if you choose an engineering career on the other hand, then you may have to work for a manufacturing setup
